After an initial experience as an M&A analyst in a regional firm, he spent five years at EY where he took on the role of Manager in the Transaction Advisory Services division. There, he oversaw the support of regional SMEs, CAC 40 groups, and investment funds in numerous external growth operations in France and internationally.

His experience and cross-functional skills (M&A and Transaction Services) are significant assets for CAIRUS and its teams

Holder of a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Fabien brings with him a rich professional experience.

With 18 years of experience in M&A, he has supported Small and Mid-Cap companies in their capital transactions.

Fabien now joins CAIRUS as Senior M&A Director. He will work alongside the partners to consolidate CAIRUS’s technical expertise.

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and Tax Strategy from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he brings with him over 13 years of experience in M&A, during which he has supported Small and Mid-Cap business leaders in their strategic development and succession operations.

Christophe now holds the position of Senior M&A Director at our Marseille office and works alongside the partners to guide our teams with his M&A expertise.

A Graduate of Audencia and The Ohio State University, Christine brings over 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.

She built the majority of her career at Aurignac Finance, where she became a Partner after holding several leadership positions. She also held advisory roles at Sodica Crédit Agricole and Hay Group.
Christine now joins CAIRUS as a Senior M&A Director in the Paris office, where she will support SME executives in their strategic transactions.

Financing Senior Director

With over 10 years of experience in the banking sector, Benjamin has supported business leaders from all backgrounds, from start-ups to mid-sized companies, on financing and development matters. After holding key positions, first at CIC as a Corporate Account Manager, then within the Corporate Investment Banking division of Crédit Agricole de Lorraine as a Business Engineer, he has built recognized expertise in structuring complex financings.

Based in Nancy, he joins Cairus as Senior Financing Director, where he applies his skills to support companies in their strategic projects.

With degrees in Finance from the IUT of Sceaux and the Paris School of Business, Christophe entered banking by joining the Crédit du Nord group. He first led the Business Center in Caen, then Amiens, before becoming a Banking Advisor in Lille. This last experience opened the doors to Corporate Finance for him.

With nearly 25 years of experience as a corporate banker and in Corporate Finance, Christophe has a solid background exclusively focused on company leaders, giving him an in-depth knowledge of SMEs and intermediate-sized enterprises (ETIs), in terms of their strategy, financial structure, and business sector.

Director – Marseille

Nicolas holds a double Master’s degree in Finance and in Banking and Finance, which naturally led him to banking at the start of his career.

He joined LCL in 2006, where he quickly advanced from Deputy Corporate Finance to Corporate Business Manager and then Director of the Corporate Business Center for SMEs.

He then moved to Banque Palatine as a Corporate Client Director and later became Branch Director for Corporate. During this last experience, he also oversaw the Private Banking activity, allowing him to provide comprehensive support to corporate leaders.

With a career of over 15 years exclusively focused on corporations and their decision-makers, Nicolas has now chosen to focus his expertise on what drives him, M&A, by taking the helm of the CAIRUS office in Marseille.

Director – Brittany

Christophe holds a DESS in Management & SME Management from IAE Nantes and a Certificate of Company Director from Sciences Po – IFA Paris.

He started his career in 2002 at SOFARIS as a credit analyst for very small to medium-sized businesses. He then moved on to a role as a business manager at OSEO for three years, during which he supported SMEs and SMIs in their strategic operations and financing needs. He later became head of the middle office Equipment Service.

OSEO became Bpifrance in 2012, and Christophe became the local head for Finistère Morbihan, in charge of the Brest and Lorient offices, a position he held for over 10 years. He joined the Board of Directors of Bpifrance Financement in 2019.

After 20 years at Bpifrance (SOFARIS then OSEO) serving company leaders, he joined CAIRUS in January 2024 as M&A Director in Brittany, where he brings his solid experience and detailed knowledge of the local economic ecosystem to company leaders.

François holds a Master’s degree in business law (Paris II Panthéon-Assas) and a Master’s in finance. He also has a higher diploma in accounting and management.

He joined EY and evolved there for 8 years as a Senior Manager, during which he conducted financial due diligences for numerous acquisition & divestment projects on behalf of investment funds, large groups, and SMEs in France and abroad.

With his solid background, François is now the Director of the Transaction Services department at CAIRUS.

Céline graduated from KEDGE Business School Marseille.

After her studies, she joined Bpifrance, where she held various positions as she progressed in her career: from Business Manager to Regional Delegate to Head of Division for the Southern Network.

Through her diverse experiences, Céline has acquired and developed a broad range of skills – financial analysis, business development, risk management, etc. – which she has dedicated to serving business leaders.

Her expertise in financing and her refined understanding of businesses make her a prime contact for addressing the financing needs of business leaders.

M&A Manager Le Mans Sébastien graduated from the IUT of Le Mans and Tours, respectively in business management and commerce.

He leveraged this dual expertise by joining Crédit Agricole, where he quickly entered the professional market. He then moved on to serve large professional clients before becoming a Corporate Business Manager.

During his time at Crédit Agricole, Sébastien completed his training by obtaining a degree in Banking Management (ITB).

As a privileged interlocutor for business leaders for nearly 15 years, Sébastien continues to be a choice partner for them in his role as M&A Manager at CAIRUS.

Transaction Services Manager

With a double Master 2 in Management and CCA (Accounting, Control, Audit) from SKEMA Business School and IAE Lille, Agathe specializes in consolidation, taxation, company valuation, corporate law and external audit.

She began her career with Deloitte France, where she worked for over two years as an Analyst and then Senior Analyst in Transaction Services. Agathe then joined Cofigex, where she held the positions of Senior and then Manager in Transaction Services, reinforcing her expertise in the management of complex transactional projects.

Thanks to her diversified experience and her mastery of financial and transactional issues, Agathe is able to put her know-how at the service of Cairus’s management team, supporting them in their structuring operations.

Senior Transaction Services Analyst

Jean graduated from ICN Business School in Nancy and Berlin. During his Master of Science in Finance and Grande École Master Program, he completed internships at HSBC, PWC, and Dynasty AM.

His professional journey took him to Deloitte in Paris, where he became a senior auditor, responsible for SCPIs, securitization funds, and management companies. He then joined CAIRUS as an M&A business manager while undertaking audit missions, which allowed him to advance to a Senior Analyst position in Transaction Services within less than a year. 

Senior M&A Associate 

With a Master’s in Corporate Finance from Nantes Business School, Simon then joined Neuflize OBC and the Ministry of Economy and Finance where he gained substantial expertise in corporate finance.

He has also established a strong connection with Asia and French companies developing there: through a university exchange, experience at the French Embassy in Beijing, and as the President of the Franco-Chinese Association for Shared Commercial Development.

His career path and specialization in SME/ETI financing are invaluable in addressing the challenges of business leaders.

Senior M&A Associate

Hugo holds a Master’s in Finance from Kedge Business School in Marseille. 

He started his career as a financial analyst in venture capital at Région Sud Invest, then joined EY as a financial auditor, before embarking on an entrepreneurial venture in London.

Now an M&A Business Manager at CAIRUS, he applies his knowledge in corporate finance and nurtures his passion for entrepreneurship through interactions with the business leaders he supports.

M&A Associate

Salah holds dual degrees in Corporate Finance: an MBA from Financia Business School and an International Certificate from HEC.

He also participated in the M&A program at Columbia Business School. His specialization in Corporate Finance has led him to various roles in different organizations: as an M&A analyst at Arcéane, a Private Equity analyst at Amethis, and finally a large-cap coverage analyst at BRED Banque Populaire.

He now brings his experience to bear as an M&A analyst at CAIRUS Paris.

M&A Associate

Erwan boasts a dual engineering-manager curriculum from an engineering school (ENSGSI) and a business school (ICN). 

Throughout his career, he has undertaken roles as an assistant and M&A analyst, both in specialized firms and within the dedicated department of a major company (Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment France), and later for Banque Populaire.

His diverse experiences have given him a versatility that he now utilizes at the CAIRUS Paris office.

M&A Analyst

Tobias earned a Bachelor’s in Finance from IESEG School of Management. As a Franco-German, he spent an exchange year at the Hochschule Pforzheim in Germany.

Throughout his academic journey, he completed various internships on both sides of the Rhine, notably at Capgemini and PWC. His end-of-study internship at CAIRUS led to a full-time position due to his outstanding performance and satisfaction of the management.

Now an M&A Analyst in Strasbourg, Tobias brings his valuable Franco-German dual culture to the table, particularly beneficial for cross-border operations.

M&A Analyst

Graduated with an MSc in Finance from emlyon business school, Matthieu Leveque has developed strong expertise in corporate finance and financial modeling.

Throughout his career, Matthieu completed internships in several organizations, including in M&A at In Extenso Finance and in private equity at Siparex.

He then gained solid experience in business valuation and transaction services at NG Finance. Matthieu now joins the M&A team at Cairus, bringing his expertise and analytical mindset to the firm.

M&A Analyst

Victor joined the team as an M&A Analyst after completing several significant internships in mergers and acquisitions and investment. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from ESSCA and enriched his academic background with a semester at KU Leuven in Belgium, where he deepened his knowledge of international finance.

During his internships, Victor developed strong skills in financial modeling, due diligence and structured financing. He contributed to strategic projects at well-known firms such as Societex Corporate Finance and EQUIDEALS, while gaining experience in financing-related matters at Smalt Capital and Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie. He now brings this expertise to CAIRUS, supporting business leaders in their strategic transactions.

Graduating from SKEMA Business School with a specialization in audit, corporate finance, and mergers & acquisitions, complemented by a semester exchange at North Carolina State University, Lucas has developed solid skills in transaction services, audit, and financial valuation. With several experiences in financial analysis and supporting growth operations, he joined Cairus to leverage his expertise in support of our clients’ strategic projects.

Transaction Analyst – Services Paris

Graduating from SKEMA Business School with a double degree in MiM & MSc in Corporate Finance, complemented by an international experience at North Carolina State University, Aliosha has developed strong skills in financial analysis, valuation, and modeling. After a successful internship with Cairus’ M&A team, he chose to join the Transaction Services department to broaden his expertise and assist our clients in their strategic operations.

Financing Analyst

Mathilde Weber holds a Master’s degree in Professional Banking and Branch Management from the IUP de Finance in Nancy. Her academic background also includes a Master’s degree in Business Law with a specialization in banking and insurance, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Private Law from the University of Lorraine.

Before joining CAIRUS, Mathilde gained significant experience in the banking sector. She began her career at Société Générale as a Client Advisor for professionals, where she developed strong skills in financial analysis and advisory services.

Mathilde now joins CAIRUS as a Financing Associate, ready to leverage her expertise and background to support business leaders in their financial projects.

Financing Analyst

Méline holds a Master’s degree in Banking Finance delivered jointly by the IUP of Nancy and the École Supérieure de la Banque, with a focus on finance and financial services management. She also studied at IAE Nancy in Economic and Social Administration, where she gained knowledge in law, management and other key subjects.

She developed her financing skills during a two-year work-study program at Crédit Agricole de Lorraine, where she held the roles of Client Advisor and then Professional Advisor.

Her academic background and early professional experience give her a comprehensive view of financial advisory, which she now brings to CAIRUS as a Financing Associate.

Human Resources Manager

Auxana pursued a dedicated path in human resources, holding a BTS and a Bachelor’s, capped by a Master’s in “HR Development Management.” After a 3-year stint in the industry, she joined the Mentor group, specializing in recruitment.

She then moved to CAIRUS, where she contributes her skills in recruitment and HR development as part of the company’s national expansion

Administrative Officer

With a background as an Assistant Manager, Marie furthered her education with a diploma in profit center and corporate strategy management.

Following her experience at the CCI Alsace Eurométropole and two managerial positions in various sectors, Marie joined CAIRUS in March 2024 as an Administrative Manager.
